After she made her first appearance in the Disney+ original series “Hawkeye” in 2021, the superhuman Echo has been a fan-favorite. So much so that Marvel Studios gave the character her own miniseries, which drops on Tuesday, Jan. 9.
In fact, all five episodes of “Echo” come out all at once on Disney+ and Hulu at the same time at 9 p.m. ET — a first for a Marvel Studios original. This is also the first release under the “Marvel Spotlight” banner, which showcases titles that tells stories outside of the “larger MCU continuity.”
Although Disney+ and Hulu do not offer free trials, both streaming services start as low as $7.99 per month for the ad-supported plan. To go ad-free, prices jump up to $13.99 and $17.99, respectively.

The new miniseries starts immediately after the events of “Hawkeye.” After Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) puts a bounty on her, Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox), a deaf superhuman, must leave New York City to hide in her small hometown in Oklahoma. Lopez later finds the courage and strength to take on Fisk after she reconnects to her Native American roots.
“Echo” also features Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Zahn McClarnon, Cody Lightning, Graham Greene and Charlie Cox as Daredevil.
